PROGRAMA PARA LA MEJORA DE CALIDAD DE VIDA EN PACIENTES ONCOLÓGICAS DEL PROGRAMA ¨CLUB DE LA MAMA¨ ATENDIDAS EN EL INSTITUTO NACIONAL MATERNO PERINATAL 2023

Resumen

Objetivo. Evaluar los resultados de un programa para la mejora de la calidad de vida en pacientes oncológicas del ¨Club de la mama¨ atendidas en el INMP (2023). Materiales y Métodos. Esta investigación corresponde a un estudio piloto con un análisis cuasiexperimental, el cual consiste en la aplicación de un programa para la mejora de la calidad de vida en pacientes oncológicas atendidas durante el 2023, se utilizó el total de la población, 7 participantes, con edades entre los 41 y 71 años (media=60.25), aplicándose la totalidad del programa (36 sesiones, 9 meses). Se utilizó la escala de Calidad de Vida (QLQ-30), Ansiedad (GAD-7), Depresión (PHQ-9) y Estrés (PSS-10) en 4 momentos, antes de iniciar el programa (pretest), luego de 3 meses (control 1), posterior a 6 meses (control 2) y por último luego de la aplicación total del programa, 9 meses (control 3). Se realizo el análisis de frecuencias y porcentajes de las variables, ajuste de bondad a la curva normal, y las pruebas de T Student para muestras relacionadas (p>0,05) intragrupo con un nivel de confianza al 95%. Resultados. Se encontró diferencias significativas entre los pretest y controles en sus diferentes variables, Calidad de vida (p<0,05, aumento de 35,29 a 66), Ansiedad (p<0,05, se redujo de 12,86 a 3,71), Depresión (p<0,05, se redujo de 12 a 2,14), y Estrés (p<0,05, se redujo de 28 a 15,14). Conclusión. El programa aplicado en el club de la mama mejoró la calidad de vida de las pacientes oncológicas al finalizar sus sesiones.
